What To Do With Your Old Camera

Now that you have bought your fancy new digital camera, that leaves the question "What do I do with my OLD camera?"

The old camera might seem like useless baggage, old and unwanted merchandise that everyone in existence has outgrown already (much like when you buy a new computer). It has less zoom power, fewer megapixels, fewer features, and lower resolution than your new one. So are there really any uses for it? Here are suggestions you should consider...

• Sell it! If it is in good condition, on an auction site such as eBay, or on craigslist, or the local newspaper classified ads.

• Give your old digital camera to your parents or friends to introduce them to the world of digital photography. If the camera is simple enough to operate this would also be an ideal kids'camera.

• Keep your old digital camera as a backup in case your main digital camera fails. Keep it in your car glovebox for those occasions where you say "I wish I had my camera right now!"

• Donate your digital camera to charity or a school, you might even be able to deduct it from your taxes.
